I will try to remember to put some pictures up later today, like of Owen's horrible second haircut from me. He said that only Tata can cut his hair, so until that day, he will look like someone came at him with dull scissors:)
The girls start their new school on Tuesday (actually, probably Wednesday, because I have to take Kenley to a nephrologist appointment in Phoenix on Tueday and I am not going to send them to school for 1/2 day on their first day.) Anyway, we are all very excited about the switch. Kenley is excited because she gets to bring a lunch and wear leggings again. Bailey is a little less enthused but she is happy because one of the boys that we met and she played with on the playground in our neighborhood goes there, but she doesn't want to leave Kallie and Audrey (and they are the 2 I can't wait to get her away from). I think that she is also seeing this as a positive start and hopefully, the accidents will stop. I just feel like Mrs. Valentine said what she thought I wanted to hear but never followed through for Bailey. The feeling that I got from that school was never good, and I felt better about the public school. Hopefully, we get some good teachers here.
Owen is all about "duper-heroes" right now. I really can't even figure out where he learned about them. But we got a Justice League movie at Target (super cheap) and he LOVES it.
Corey is still working an insane amout of hours (part of the reason Bailey is missing school to go to kenley appointment with me). VDS in Caledonia still wants more hours, so Corey is trying to figure out a way to do this without losing more time with us. He is working on getting up earlier in the morning. I think he is going to burn out soon, 12 1/2 hours days, 6 days a week and 5-6 hours on Sunday is just too much, especially when it is 115 degrees outside. Hopefully, they will start getting some jobs and Corey can go back to being an inside employee.
I still do not know anyone...I am hoping that when it starts cooling down I will meet some more moms on the playground. Untl then, it is just me and Owen most of the time.
Still nothing new with Kenley. I find myself on edge all the time, waiting for an "episode" to start. I wonder how long I will do that before I decide she is done with them and it was a fluke. Part of me wishes I knew what triggered them so that I could try and cause one to see. The waiting is torture.
Okay, that is an update for now.

Relationships
I need to vent and since this is just family (mostly) I am going to do it here. For the second day since school started Bailey has come home crying because 2 little girls don't want to play with her. The second day of school, Bailey met a girl named Audrey. They played together until the bell rang. At recess, another girl, named Kallie, wanted to play with Audrey, but said that she didn't want to play with Bailey. So Audrey ditched Bailey to play with Kallie. Bailey was heartbroken. No reason given, just she didn't want to play with her. The next day, all 3 played together. This morning, Bailey and Audrey hooked up again on the playground, thye held hands and were inseperable. They apparently, played the whole first recess together, with Kallie. Audrey and Bailey sat together at lunch, then after lunch at that recess Kallie decides they aren't going to play with Bailey and run away from her. Which carries on to the next recess. As a mom, my heart breaks for Bailey. Where do little girls learn to be so mean? Is it learned from parents? I hope that I am teaching my children to be kind to others. According to Bailey, Audrey kept trying include Bailey, but Kallie kept trying to exclude Bailey. It is a rough lesson to learn at such a young age and when you are new and desperately want to have friends. As a parent it is so hard to stand by and watch your child hurt.

Busy...
We have been busy lately. Grandma Horton and Dylan were here then Grandma Horton left and Dylan was here. Then Grammy came.
We went to the zoo with Grammy. It was fun, but probably would be better when the weather is cooler. It was hot and the zoo is huge. The kids got to touch a sting ray and that was really fun. The best part of the zoo was the splash cave. Mom and the kids loved it. Mom liked all the splash parks with the kids:)
Mom and I did a lot of sewing and going to craft stores. Then mom and dylan left:( We went to Carey and Penny's to go swimming. Bailey is getting so brave! She loved going in the deep end. I couldn't believe it. Owen liked to stay on the ledge and squirt his water gun. Kenley liked to go from bench to bench. Today, the kids met their teachers for school. It starts tomorrow. I couldn't have wished for better teachers for them. They both seem like wonderful women. I am so excited for the girls to start school tomorrow. Oh, and Friday night, Bailey was stung by a scorpion. We thought 3 times, but it actually looks like it was 5 times. Fortunately, she doesn't react to them and aside from a lot of pain Saturday, she is fine.
OK, blogger is bot wanting me to add any more pictures, so I will try to post those some other time.

Oh my word! The trouble that I have been having trying to write this post!!!
In case I haven't mentioned it lately, I HATE Toshiba...at least my computer.
Anyway, we haven't been doing much lately, just going to storytime on Mondays and Fridays, then we go play at the Splash Park. This past Friday, we took a picnic. The kids thought that was pretty fun.

Owen cooling Bailey off. |
Arizona must be tiring because Kenley and Owen just drop whereever they are.
Owen was throwing a fit about something and then he got really quiet, I looked down and he was sound asleep. |
The blog is being weird with pictures so this will have to do.

Ok, it's been a little bit
Since I last posted Grandma Horton and Dylan came for a visit. We made signs...
Holding signs at the airport |
We had some cooler (by that I mean 98-100 degrees), so we took advantage and rode bikes.
Owen is excited that he has mastered his big boy bike now.
Tata has cut Owen's hair since he was 1 month old, he needed a haircut, so Corey and I tried. Owen was NOT happy about it. He screamed and cried the whole time.
He ended up with some funky wings and long spots all over.
I had to take him somewhere. He was such a good boy. He sat perfectly still while she buzzed his hair.
We went to story time at Barnes and Noble then looked in some shops before going to the Pop Jet fountains. Bailey loved Charming Charlie.
Owen (and the girls) love that Dylan is here. He rarely gets a minute to himself once he wakes up:) Owen liked that he could catch a ride.
While Grandma was here we went to the Children's Museum in Mesa. Here the girls were trying on Lucy's dress in the Peanuts display. The kids had so much fun at this museum. I am sure we will be going back.
And finally, Bailey lost another tooth. Poor girl is having a rough time eating with all the holes and loose teeth.
The girls are officially enrolled in school. They will be going to the Benjamin Franklin Charter school. Corey and I are really excited about this. It is supposed to be a really great school. Their first day will be August 10th. There are some really strict dress codes so I am not sure how the girls will like it. We still aren't sure about preschool for Owen. We may just wait a year and have him go next year.

The weekend
Friday after story time we hung out at home. I think Kenley was tired...
The after dinner we went to a celebration thingy in Downtown Mesa. There were bounce houses and slides,
and there were water slides, Bailey and Kenley went down the slides, they got to the bottom and sort of stopped, so they stepped into the water. For some reason, Owen flew down the slide, turned sideways and would have gone head first in the water if Corey hadn't been at the bottom to stop him. Needless to say, he wanted no part of the water slides after that.
The girls loved it, Bailey more the Kenley, and would have stayed there forever. It was still 106 so, we could have, even though it was dark. But Corey was tired, so we bribed them with ice cream sundaes at home. Saturday, Corey went to work for a bit and the kids and I went to the gym. We got home and we all just hung out for a bit. Corey napped in the chair and this is how I found Owen...
Then in the evening we went to see Cars 2. It was a long movie and there were lots of potty breaks but the kids liked it. Owen loved it. He clapped and cheered. It was really cute. Sunday we went to church. We sent all the kids to Children's Church. We left them all screaming for us, but when we picked them up, they all said they had a good time and the teachers said they only cried for a couple of minutes. We liked church. It was huge, which is different for us, but the music was way better then the last church. We will see, we will probably go back.
We are heading to Tumbleweed Park this evening for the celebration there and fireworks.

I wish I could think of fun titles...
So, the last couple of days we didn't do anything. Corey got home Wednesday night at 12:30, then left for work again at 5:45 in the morning so the kids didn't get to see him until Thursday at about 10am when Carey let him come home for a couple of hours. They were so excited to wrestle around with daddy again.
Owen dressed himself the other day. He really wants to wear the Buzz flip flop but we lost the other one. We actually didn't plan to have this one, but Papa is shipping everything to us:)
Kenley at the Pop Jet fountains.
I did make these the days we stayed home. One is a beach bag and the other is a little pouch I take to the gym to put my license, keys, and phone in.
